(i.e. those species of ducks and geese that may legally be shot) and
shooting seasons relates to Greta Britain. The species and season may be
different in other countries.

It is
important that all wildfowlers fully appreciate the importance of not
shooting any of the protected species and are able to identify all the
species they are likely to encounter on their local estuaries and
marshes.
